This piece is the start of a gentle collection, close to home (quite literally). I remember painting this piece after glancing upon the peperomia leaves one afternoon, which sat in a hanging pot plant overlooking the garden from the balcony at mum’s place in Darwin. I wanted to capture the unique and contrasting cool and warm shades of green that overlapped eachother in a complementary way. So here we have it, my beloved ‘Peperomia’ piece.
