Acrylic & ink pen on Paper, framed
The beautiful thing about art is how one piece can be interpreted differently for those viewing. For example, one may suggest this piece reminds them of the tropics, or the juicy taste of pawpaw, or a regular order for a pawpaw smoothie each Sunday morning at the local market juice stall. For me, this piece evokes feelings of nostalgia, memories of me walking through my grandparents garden only to look up and see unripe green pawpaws clinging to the pits of the over arching branches sprouting from the tree. If you ask me, this piece is interprets the sense of belonging.
