This is THE piece — one of my absolute favourites I’ve made (I’m sure I say that about a lot of my paintings, hehe). I remember painting this during my house-sitting days, inspired by a freshly cut bouquet displayed on the kitchen counter. The sweet, floral scent filled the space — so beautiful that I couldn’t resist capturing those blooms in their prime. I adore this colour palette, especially how the yellow pours through the pinks, purples, and greens. It always reminds me of that glowing, tropical warmth of the Darwin sun, spilling its rays across the northern scenery.
This piece deserves to live in a vibrant home — one that radiates the same warmth and colour it was born from!
