I think this is where my true love and appreciation for gouache really came through. I loved experimenting with the colours in this piece — especially the way the mixed shadows play against the bold vibrance of the sunset. T’was a super fun and cool piece to create, reminding me of my days spent at the Mindil beach markets - Laksa in one hand, fresh juice in the other, surrounded by my closest mates. This piece deserves to find a vibrant home, one that feels just as full of colour, warmth, and good memories.
