This piece is part of a gentle collection titled Mum’s Balcony — a series inspired by the thriving plant species that border the communal space where we share food, stories, and our time at Mum’s place, specifically on the balcony. I absolutely love the green patterning across the plant’s leaves, so I wanted to capture and emphasise their cohesiveness using gouache paints. And here we have it — my beloved and original Chinese Evergreens piece.
